Getting help for mental health is just as important as going to the dentist, and should be treated as such. Your mental health can deteriorate, just as teeth do if you don’t brush them enough.
Mental strength is not the ability to stay out of darkness rather it is the ability to sit in darkness with the hope that light will shine again.
By sharing your story, you are showing others that they are not alone. A major part of our population suffers with mental illness yet it is considered as stigma. It is high time we start talking.
